I saw Ignacia for the first time after hurting my shoulder in Jiu Jitsu. I was convinced it was a torn rotator cuff.  My Jiu Jitsu team that frequently visits Ignacia encouraged me to give her acupuncture a try before seeking out a doctor’s visit, referral to an orthopedic specialist, or an X-ray to tell me it’s not broken and a CT scan to find the damage. Having been a paramedic for 10 years, western medicine is all I knew.  Ignacia not only found the true source of pain in my shoulder but spent the next hour gently treating it.  Before she worked on me, I had almost zero range of motion and couldn’t support any weight with my left arm. It had been immobile, distractingly painful and glued to my hip for days. When I left after an hour in her care I had full range of motion, full strength back and absolutely no pain! The next morning is the same. My shoulder feels 100% again!  I’m completely blown away by how quickly and effectively her treatments work.
